This Generation
First Prophet- Ezekiel 39: 27-28 Matthew 24: 32-34
In ancient times word came by God's prophets, that men would not live forever in a world of sin and death; their prophecies spoke of great destruction and horror, but always with the promise that at the end salvation would come for the earth and its people.
Jesus said we will know the end is near at hand, when Jerusalem once again is the city of the people Israel, and the Temple of God stands on the Holy Mountain. For the generation that sees the beginning of these things will not pass away until all prophecies of the end times and His return are fulfilled.
Our generation has seen the beginning of these things... this generation is the generation of promise. This song talks about Israel becoming a nation again. The children born in this time will see the second coming of the Messiah, this time to rule the whole earth from Jerusalem, and this is what the book "Glorious Appearing" is all about, which is the last book in the "Left Behind" series, by Tim LaHaye and Jerry B Jenkins.
This will be staged playing a video depicting the formation of the modern nation of Israel together with the Holocaust in Europe during World War II. Once again, it will feature dancers portraying the lyrics particularly featuring the prophecy about the Dry Bones.
